Principal's Report

Staffing Update

I am very pleased to be able to announce that we have two new staff members join our school community.

Graham Wegner

Graham has won the position of Deputy Principal for the next 3 years.

He  comes to us from Prospect North Primary School and has been in leadership positions for a number of years.

Graham’s passion is in providing opportunities for all students to develop leadership skills with a particular focus on Design Thinking through STEM learning.

We are very excited to have Graham join our leadership team and look forward to the innovative learning experiences he will provide for our students.

Matt Cailes

Matt will join us as Student Wellbeing Leader.

Matt comes to us from Cowandilla Primary School and has a very strong background in promoting healthy Wellbeing for all students and in ensuring they are all engaging in their learning.

Both Graham and Matt will start with us on Monday Sept 13th.

MASKS

Please remember to wear a mask and sign in using the QR codes if you need to enter our school grounds for any reason.

Community Library

A new community library will be established near our school boundary adjacent to the Karoomba Road pedestrian crossing.

This library will be installed by the Port Adelaide Enfield Council and will be an opportunity for local community members to “book swap”.

The official opening will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday Sept 10th.

Student representatives from each class will be there to see the opening just prior to being dismissed from their classrooms.

Parents are welcome – but please wear a mask.
