Principal's Message

“The good life is one inspired by love and guided by knowledge.”

Bertrand Russell

Welcome to the fifth edition of The Brigidine Broadcast.

This edition of The Brigidine Broadcast contains a reflection of the many exciting adventures our students have taken over the past four weeks.  You will also find important dates and future events that our Brigidine girls will be participating in for the remainder of the Term.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our incredible Student Leadership Team who has harnessed every possible moment to bring to light important events as well as continue to build a community at Brigidine College who is empathetic, engaged and truly focused on making us all better people. The Student Leadership Team projects to date have included:

  • the St Vincent's de Paul Winter Appeal initiative involving every Pastoral Care class contributing to providing assistance in the form of non-perishable and toiletry items for those vulnerable members of our broader community
  • involvement of all Student Representative Council members in creating greater understanding of National Sorry Day
  • an extremely successful fundraising for, and awareness raising of, The Ponytail Project
  • creating 'Friday Fundays' - a House Spirit sports program each cycle to get our students moving and spirits raised.

Brigidine College continues to make it's mark on the stage, the sporting field and the debating podium. Our students have represented our College with pride and have shown what it is to be a Brigidine girl - girls of integrity, of strength, of compassion and finesse.

For our parents, much information pertaining to our community is contained in my recently emailed Parent Update.

Enjoy our latest edition of The Brigidine Broadcast.
