Exploring the concept of Time in Maths

Grade 1/2  Beadle/Chapman have been busy this term exploring the concept of time in Maths.  We have been asking a lot of questions, including ...

– Why is it important to be able to tell the time?

– How many things can you do in a minute?

We have made and drawn analogue clocks and also spoken about digital clocks. Last term we learned about the seasons and months of the year, in sequence.

This week we enjoyed reading and reciting some Autumn poems. We wrote our own acrostic poem. As well as this, we learned about how commas are used in poems and sentences, along with the role of adjectives, to paint a vivid picture in our heads.

In Christian Studies this term we are exploring how we should live as God’s People. We will be looking at the life of Peter, in action, and how God used him. We will discuss how the scriptures apply to our lives.
