A busy term 2!
News from the PC
It has been all hands on deck preparing for the Election Day BBQ and Cake Stall
“The 2022 Federal Election was not a successful day for everyone…but it certainly was for CJC! In collaboration with the School and School Council, the Parent’s Committee and its team of volunteers, we sold in excess of 800 perfectly cooked sausages, 15kgs of onions, 47 loaves of bread, drinks, 36 bottles of sauce and more than 300 cakes, slices, Canelés de Bordeaux and cupcakes!
We saw lots of happy voters enjoying their “saucisse democrat” and many of the school’s community came to vote and support our efforts on the day. In the process we raised approximately $5600 for the works at the front of the school and had fun along the way. Thank you to all the families who volunteered, pledged a cake or bought something on the day.

Now begins the countdown to the next BBQ at the State Election in November!
We are still looking for a cake stall coordinator and Mother’s and Father’s day stall apprentice for future events – let us know if you’re interested via your Class Convener.
