Welcome

It has been another great start to the Term with many aspects of school life getting back to pre COVID times with community events on-site, assemblies face to face again and families back in the school environment to help support student learning. Although we can already see the impact of the flu season fast approaching we are encouraged by everyone's care and commitment to keep each other healthy and at school where possible. 

In week 5 we celebrate Education Week.  Each year we look forward to welcoming families into our morning Investigation program where you can join your child for some fun and learning. We love to see as many families as possible onsite to enjoy time together and celebrate the joy and power of learning. Here are some photos of our families enjoying a session of Investigation with their child.

Also in week 5 we had our 2023 Prep open days across the College to invite new families to come and have a look around the classrooms and ask any questions about starting school at Northern Bay College. If you were not able to make it this time feel free to contact your local campus to organise a tour and collect enrolment forms for 2023.

This Term we have also been taking a deep dive into our health and looking at ways we can keep ourself and others healthy and safe. Already, many of the Prep classes jumped on the bus, buckled up those seatbelts and headed off to the YMCA for some gymnastics. How good it will be to have more children somersaulting and vaulting over the furniture at home! 

In a few weeks time, the 1/2 ‘s will also be setting off for some exercise at Bounce Geelong. Already the excitement is building so please get ready to log into Compass and sign those permission forms online when they are available.
