ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

The 2022 Athletics Carnival did not disappoint! 

The weather somehow held off, and despite an icy wind, we had no rain to worry about all day. 

From the very start participation was high and it was great to see so many year 12s and even some kids from other year levels dressed up in costumes representing their houses! Costumes were secretly judged throughout the day and the main prize, ‘Keenan’s Choice’, was awarded to year 12 Jules Robinson, as Woody from Toy Story. 

Nicholls once more continued their dominance, running out as convincing winners despite a strong effort from Blair who finished in second place. Saunders finished in their natural habitat of third, and poor Onus brought up the rear in fourth. 

Overall the day was a massive success and knowing myself and my fellow year 12s will not be there next year, we certainly made this carnival one to remember. 

Hopefully it can go bigger and better next year!
