Wellbeing 2023
I would like to welcome all students and families back to Epping Secondary College for Term one 2023. The Wellbeing team is collaborating with Leading Teachers at all year levels to ensure students have access to quality wellbeing programs throughout the year. Programs will focus on:
- Promoting connectedness of students with their peers and staff also gives students every opportunity to feel that that they belong.
- Developing healthy and respectful relationships.
- Improving students’ knowledge and skills so they will make informed choices and promote safe behaviours.
- Developing students’ knowledge and skills so they can improve their mental, physical, social health and resilience.
Programs Include:
Whittlesea Community Connections EAL Sport program, Cyber-Safety programs facilitated by OPTUS and Wendy Shields (Youth Resource Officer VIC POL), Headspace Transition workshops, Wired Performance (explores cyberbullying and mental health), Be Wise workshops (explores conflict and how to end the coward punch), and Elephant Education workshops on respectful relationships and consent.
Regular updates will be given throughout the year.
