Luke Bahramis, Head of Sport
As the season is nearly at an end for Years 7 to 9 sport, I'd like to congratulate our teams on some amazing performances during the term.
YEAR 7 SPORT
Year 7 sport will finish up next week, with the top-of-the-table team taking home the pennant. As it currently stands, Kilvington has three teams undefeated in EISM sport. We wish our Basketball Boys, Soccer Girls and Tennis teams all the best for their final rounds.
A special mention goes to the Soccer Girls team who play each week with only 10 players. The girls are dedicated and skillful which is a testament to their coach, Mrs Ryan.
YEARS 8 AND 9 SPORT
Years 8 and 9 sport concluded this Thursday with two teams representing Kilvington in the Grand Finals.
Congratulations to our amazing Badminton Girls and Netball Girls teams who conducted themselves at the highest level and played to the best of their abilities. Unfortunately, on the day Knox was too good for us in both games.
Thank you to Ms Burns and coaches Kaitlyn and Elvina for their help along the way.
THE SENIOR SCHOOL HOUSE CHALLENGE
This term, Senior School sport included the House Challenge. Throughout the term, the Houses competed with each other across a mix of different sport, ranging from Netball and Basketball to English Rounders and Table Tennis.
With 44 points, Burman House emerged as the eventual champion, narrowly edging out Fysh who came a very close second with 43 points.
Congratulations to all the senior students who competed with such enthusiasm and the positive competitive spirit we love to see!
