Hello all and welcome to 2023

I hope you had a great Christmas break and had time with family and friends. It is incredible that we find ourselves in February of the new year, with the school year in full swing.  

A special welcome to our new students, staff and family members who join our school community this year:   REWN: Ashlyn, Scarlett, Marco, Isabel, Veha, Lochlan, Aayansh  RED: Etta, Mason, Fatumata, Amaiya, Chris, Kamaljot, Amanat, Sachveer and Massimo 1S: Aidan and Teddy  2K: Eli 2H: Israel 3PS Mia 4F: Makeme and Alexis. 

I look forward to a year of learning, laughter and enjoyment as students navigate the educational journey ahead.

Next Wednesday, February 8, we will be conducting our Meet the Teacher sessions. The Learning Spaces will be open from 5 till 6.  Parents are invited to introduce yourselves, if you haven't already, and receive some information about the year ahead from your child's teacher.  This will be on a casual basis, allowing parents with multiple children time to go into each area.  There will be refreshments available in the gym, commencing at 6, for those wishing to attend a session with Bill Hansberry (parent, educationalist and author) at 6 30.  The topic for Bill's 45 minute presentation will be, "How to Catch and Build Good Behaviour".  I have heard Bill speak many times, he is engaging, grounded and realistic in his observations and strategies. It is worthwhile attending his session if you have the time.
