The Facilities Maintenance Contribution
Ensures the safety and maintenance of our school grounds and buildings and compliance with OH&S.
Our Facilities Manager, Lee Skaftouros, and our Groundskeeper, Jesse Reed, attend our school daily and manage every aspect of our school maintenance requirements and compliance tasks - Grounds Maintenance & Equipment, Tree Safety & Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance & Equipment, Softfall Mulch for playgrounds, Security, Safety, Fire Prevention & OH&S. Both Lee and Jesse are now fully accredited to 'Test & Tag' all electronic devices, thus ceasing the need to outsource this continuous expense.

Lee and Jesse are our first point of call, which minimizes the expensive callout to specific trade areas including tree/plant maintenance, builders, electricians, painters and many tasks as outlined in our Asset Information Management System, which is determined by the Victorian Schools Building Authority.
Families are no longer asked to assist at regular working bees based on the strict OH&S guidelines.

These contributions are vital to a positive trajectory for both the school and for the experiences of all our students at BNPS.
