Year 2 Science

The Year 2 students have been working hard on creating a project to finish up our ‘Forces’ unit. This term we have explored many different forces such as push and pull, magnetism, friction, gravity and buoyancy.

We were able to participate in experiments such as finding items that float and creating parachutes using different materials.

In our project we had to design and create one thing that used a particular force. The tricky part was identifying what force the object used. Some of us created rockets, boats, cars and mazes. We had lots of fun with our creations!

Independent Writing

Audrey (2B) is an Eco Warrior who during our Independent Writing unit wrote a letter to Sally about some improvements we could make around the school. Audrey was able to share her letter at the Junior School Assembly.
