Year 8 - Excursion to Shepparton Water Treatment Plant
On Monday 19th August students from both Year 8A and Year 8B attended an excursion to the Water Treatment facility on Welsford Street in Shepparton. During the excursion they had the opportunity to learn more about how our water is filtered and why filtering is important. Students also had a tour of the facility, seeing the flocculation treatment in action. It was a great event that helps support the learning that is currently taking place in both Humanities and Science. A very big thank you to Kristy Elrington from GV Water for providing us with this opportunity.
