Calrossy Foundation

Calrossy Foundation Launch
Calrossy Anglican School has a long and proud history of championing charity and benevolence through scholarships and bursary programs over our 100 years of education in Tamworth. The newly established Foundation CAS is a charitable body with the task of assisting Calrossy through funds to support Building, Resources and Scholarships/Bursaries into the future. The Foundation has already seen the establishment of two new scholarships and an increase in bursaries, it will also see allow the School to be more active in the community and cement future growth in infrastructure and resource for the next 100 years.
The Foundation presentation of $100,000 to Calrossy as a gift to support the construction of the new 10 classroom block for the William Cowper Campus recently at the Ball of the Century will support the $4.6 million building project on the William Cowper Campus. This is the first step in implementing the Calrossy Master Plan that is supported by the Foundation’s Building Fund and support from our wider community.
Calrossy Principal Mr David Smith said, “Scholarships and bursaries have long held an important role in the growth of the school, ensuring opportunities to families from across the region in accessing a Calrossy education. We have an exciting master plan, with a vision of fantastic facilities and the development of our two campuses.”
Our school is looking back with pride in our Centenary year while looking to the future with much excitement and anticipation as these plans become reality.
