From the Head of Primary

From Miss Dalziel
This week I have been immensely proud of our students. They continue to represent our school with pride and such incredible passion. The comments from the public continue to flow in and it fills me with great joy. Well Done.
Our #countlessopportunities continue this week...
Grandparents’ Day was a spectacular occasion to showcase our learning. It was wonderful to be able to welcome so many guests to our school and our students were so proud to share their learning journey with them.
Year 12 and their families returned to Primary School today and it was a wonderful trip down memory lane. More than 30 of our current Year 12 students commenced their Calrossy journey in Primary School on the William Cowper Campus and we are so proud of their achievements.
Our Prep Come and Try Day was a huge success. Our youngest and newest students are preparing to come to Calrossy next year and it was a perfect day to start the transition.
The P&F has been so generous towards the Primary School. They work tirelessly to support our School and last week they generously gave the Primary School $10, 000 to update and expand the Prep playground. We have plans which span over the next few years, which we will start soon by extending the fence line and growing the space available for play. Keep an eye out as you drive along Moore Creek Road.
Our final P&F fundraiser is about to finish. The children have all made designs which can be transferred onto mugs and are available to purchase. Please see the information on the HUB and I am sure last minute orders will be accepted early next week if you haven’t had a chance to purchase.
Over the past few weeks, families have filled many Christmas Boxes for Samaritans Purse which will go on to provide happiness for children less fortunate than us. Thank you for your contributions.
Our focus for the week has been fairness. We have reflected that fairness is being able to give equitably in order to meet the needs of others.
Psalm 33:4-54 The Lord is truthful;he can be trusted.5 He loves justice and fairness, and he is kind to everyoneeverywhere on earth.
On Friday next week, the last day of term, we will conclude with a mufti day. Students are asked to bring a gold coin donation and wear plain clothes to support our Compassion Child.
I look forward to our final week of Term 3.
