Outdoor Bush School

1-3C at Bush School

The children of 1-3C began our inaugural BUSH SCHOOL DAY by recognising our indigenous peoples with a newly composed Acknowledgment of Country.

At a cool 8 degrees this morning, we braved the cold and began exploring the area, searching for leaf and stick treasures to include in our Bush Ranger headbands.

We also created some spatter art and practised tying knots to bind our constructions.

Today was also a great opportunity to finish filling 3 raised garden beds in readiness for a beautiful aromatic garden. We’re looking forward to lots of herbs and flowers ready to bloom in spring!

Happy winter everyone!
