SMASH Expectations

In Week 3 and 4 focusing on ‘Making a Difference’ outside by including others. In week 5 and 6 we will be focusing on Act Responsible in community spaces by lining up quietly in your safety line when the bell goes.

SRC

Over the last few SRC meetings students have commenced implementing the following suggestions that were requested from their classes and our St Michaels’ community. The students came up with a range of wonderful ideas, however, due to having over 25 ideas the SRC students decided on the following:

  • Having a lost items tub in each community space
  • To have a focus on Lining up outside after each lunchtime
  • To create soccer rules for the whole school to follow during lunchtime
  • To pick up rubbish to make our school cleaner
  • To mark out of bounds areas
  • Create posters that will remind students to take care of our toilets
  • Create posters and ways to be kind to one another, especially outside.

The SRC students will be presenting some of these ideas through posters and at assemblies. As the weeks go by we will keep you updated on how we are going. Please let us know if you have any further ideas on how we can implement these ideas or if you have any questions.
