School Review- Parent forum, 9am- Friday 9th June

Friday 9th June is the field-day component of the School Review Process. On this Day the Reviewers will meet with Newham Primary School Staff, Students and Parents in forums designed specifically for each group. 

The Parent forum will begin at 9am sharp in the second room of the ramp portable. A sign-in form will be available at the door. This is an opportunity for parents to gain an understanding of how a  review shapes the direction of a school and support our school by participating in the forum process. We hope you are able to attend. 

The reviewer has requested parents to please RSVP to the office before Friday 9th June if you are attending the forum.

School OPEN morning Friday 16th June

We are reconfiguring our Friday 16th June School tour as an OPEN morning for interested families considering enrolling their child at Newham. School councillors will be available and current families can join in to provide our prospective families with their insight. 

State Government sponsored shade sail is completed

During the pandemic the state government allocated funds for eligible schools across Victoria to receive an outdoor shade space. 

This shade sail has an impermeable membrane rather than shade cloth and is big enough to shelter quite a number of students. Stage 2 is now to use our Federal Government grant to equip this new outdoor area.
