College Captains' Report

Well, here we are nearly halfway through our school year! In our first year of being a full year 7-12 campus, we have been very busy. Our inaugural Year 12s have just completed their mid-year SACs – well done to you all and congratulations to the Year 11 and 12 boys football team who won the round robin competition against 5 local high schools!

In the last week of term, the Year 9s are off on their big adventures, many traveling to Cairns for the Reef/Rainforest camp, others hiking on the Great Ocean Road while some are staying closer to home as part of the Urban Expedition to the city. It is a week-long expedition enjoying a range of activities such as a private tour at the MCG and visiting many other key places in our great city.

In the coming weeks we having some important things coming up:

  • Our Year 12s sitting the GAT assessment on the Thursday 15 June, good luck to you all!
  • Our Innovate & PBL Expo Night on Wednesday 14 June where students showcase their different project-based learning from our wide range of subjects.

Finally, don’t forget that we have year level parent social nights at Haus of Frazer, Beaumaris:

  • Years 7 & 8 on Thursday 1 June
  • Years 9 & 10 on Thursday 8 June
  • Years 11 & 12 on Thursday 15 June

I hope you all enjoy your winter break and come back fresh for Term 3.

Thanks.
