VCE Art Making & Exhibiting

Our Unit 1/2 Art Making and Exhibiting students have curated their very first exhibition, themed ‘Identity’. They have poured their hearts and souls into their work and we are incredibly proud of their accomplishments!

Throughout our Unit 1 class we explored various materials, techniques and processes in a range of art forms, such as: clay, printmaking, painting and drawing. This helped us develop a further understanding of the characteristics properties and application of materials used within our works. A main focus was the theme 'Identity' and through the use of extensive experimentation, we all created a unique artwork linking to this idea. As a group we decided on a location and placement in the school to exhibit our works to create an aesthetically pleasing display. Next to each artwork you will find an artist statement which explains our reasoning behind our final pieces.
