Change in weather

We are starting to get into the the really cold weather and with it comes more illness and also COVID-19.  As communicated earlier in the week Covid-19 seems to be doing the rounds again.  Students who report a positive result are recommended to isolate for a minimum of 5 days and not attend school until their symptoms have resolved.  Students who isolate as a result of a positive Covid-19 test are to be supported in the same way as students with an extended absence due to illness or injury, with learning materials provided to support their continued learning.  If your child requires this support please get in touch with their classroom teacher.

CASEA

We as a school are very fortunate to have the the CAHMS and Schools Early Action program that is a part of the Early in Life Mental Health Service (ELMHS) of Monash Health working with us for the next 12 months.  The CASEA staff are a team of mental health clinicians who provide support to schools through consultations and professional development for teachers, in addition to running small therapeutic groups and classroom social and emotional learning programs.  The team are at our school every Friday.

Late Arrival & Early Departure

If your child is late for school (After 9am) please remember they must be signed in at the office.  We currently have some students just heading straight to class without signing in.  We require this for DET and emergency management purposes.   The same applies for students that are leaving school early they must be signed out at the office first.  Thank you for your support with this.
