Walton House News

Dear Parents, Carers, Family and Students, Hello Walton!

Welcome all to term 4 - it’s hard to believe we are already in the last term of the year. This Friday marks the last day of official classes for year 12 students. Monday is their mystery excursion and then Tuesday is the final assembly to see off the year 12s. The VCE exams begin on Monday 24th of October, which is the English exam. We wish all of the wonderful year 12 Walton students the best of luck as they come to the end of their schooling journey. The Walton 12s have worked tirelessly this year, staying up to date with coursework, attendance and generally upholding the school values, and being a great role model for the students younger than them. The Walton team are very proud.

The 2022 House Reading Challenge is over, and excitingly, Walton came in first.

Congratulations to all students and staff who participated in the reading challenge! At this stage Walton are leading the book club points for 2023 too! Please keep reading and writing reviews 😊

Uniform

A reminder that all students are expected to be in full school uniform. This means the academic uniform, or the sports uniform. Students can’t mix and match the academic and sports uniform. A reminder that as we head into winter, hoodies are not permitted nor are puffer jackets. Please ensure you contact Walton for support if you require assistance in obtaining a uniform. As a whole, the uniform at HPSC has been looking amazing. Let’s keep it up!

Attendance and lates

Attendance has improved so much since last year, well done to all students and families for prioritizing attendance. Please continue to let us know the reason for an absence if it occurs. At HSPC we want students to be having access to as much learning time as possible, so please remember to come on time, all the time 😊

Thank you to the Walton team.
