 Dear community of St Monica’s,

 

Sacraments

We continue to pray for the children that are preparing for the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. Preparations are well on the way, with children participating in the Commitment mass last weekend, practice next week, followed by celebrating the Sacraments on Sunday 18th June, 11am at the Cathedral.

 

PBIS Reward

Well done to the children for receiving their reward today for their great work in achieving their target for efforts in behaving in line with this term’s PBIS and displaying our school expectations– Be Safe, Be Friendly, Be a Learner. 

 

Parent Teacher Student Meetings

This is a very important opportunity to sit with your child and teacher together to discuss learning, growth and set goals for next steps of learning. Please ensure you have booked a time for your parent teacher student meeting which are being held in the last week of term. Bookings close next Tuesday 13th June

 

Reports & Journals

First semester reports and Term 2 journals will be sent home with students on Friday 16 th June.

 

CMC Production – Joseph and the amazing technicolour dreamcoat

Our Grade 5/6 unit have been invited to attend the CMC Production – Joseph and the amazing technicolour dreamcoat on Thursday 15th June at Ulumbarra Theatre. This is a great opportunity for our students to experience the Arts.

 

Interschool Sport

Thankyou to the Grade 6 students who are representing our school in Soccer at the interschool sport competition on Wednesday 14th June.

 

Staffing Update

We welcome Renee Burnham (1 day a week) and Paige Cartwright (3 days a week.) They have both been recruited, to work in the office, commencing Term 3.

 

New Arrival

Congratulations to Nicole, Nathaniel, Jacob & Liam Knight on the safe arrival of their beautiful baby boy Henry.

 

Last day of term

Friday 23rd June is the last day of Term 2. School will finish an hour early at 2.30pm.
