Edith Cowan University's School of Science has put together an exciting range of workshops available at our Joondalup campus for high school students from Years 7 -12, for the upcoming July school holidays. Most only cost $16.50 per day and some activities do require students to have specific accounts.
Taking place on Saturday the 24th of June, this free event is open to all members of the public who are eager to learn more about the diverse range of industries and career paths available in the state.
Whether you’re a job seeker looking for a headstart on your career, a professional looking for a potential career change, a parent looking for an opportunity to show your kids the opportunities available to them, or a member of the community wanting to keep up to date with what’s happening in the region, make sure to get your ticket and come along for a fun day out!
The SJ Garden Competition is returning in 2023. Why not start preparing your garden now? Nominations open 23 May 2023 and close 8 September 2023, with judging taking place in September.
The SJ Garden Competition aims to recognise the great gardens we have within our Shire including suburban, rural and native gardens.
The competition is for front gardens only (the area between the residence and the road, with an emphasis on inclusion of the verge in the overall design). Presence of a street tree will be favourably considered.
Winners of each category will receive a prize in the form of a voucher worth $200 to a local garden centre.
