College returns

Dear College Families

We look forward to welcoming back our students on Monday after what has been a very challenging and difficult week for our families. Our aim next week is to create a sense of normality for our students and we will commence with our usual Primary and Secondary assemblies on Monday, before returning to normal lessons. We continue to pray for our local community at this time.

Operation Christmas Child 2019

Thank you to everyone who kindly donated to this awesome ministry. We were able to send off 150 boxes to the warehouse.

If you still have your box at home, please send it in to the College Front Office as soon as possible, there is still one more opportunity to send the boxes to Sydney Warehouse for their future destination.

Moree Christian School 

Melissa Thornhill and Pastor Chris Thornhill were able to travel to Moree, to visit and bless this community that has been battling the drought. Taree Christian College were able to present the Principal from Moree Christian School, Mrs Noel Kramer with a donation of $2500 to assist families in their community suffering hardship. This money was raised as part of our Singin' in the Rain Jr. musical from the canteen, program and a portion of ticket sales. Thank you to everyone who donated.

Intensive Swimming Lessons

Infants were able to take part in the program during week 3, a wonderful opportunity to prepare for summer and improve those swimming and water safety skills. There were some tired students by the end of the week.

Next week, Week 6 (commencing Monday 18 November 2019), it is time for Year 3 and Year 4 students to hit the water. Don't forget swimmers, towel, goggles, thongs, clean underwear and a plastic bag for wet gear.

Years 7 - 10 Examinations -Revised timetable

Here is the revised 7-10 exam timetable, due to the disruptions last week.

Most students commence exams this Tuesday, though Year 10 will re attempt Maths on Monday

(18th November) during class.

Presentation Nights 2019

School Banking for 2019

The year is fast approaching an end, which means School banking will soon end too. Our last School banking day will be Wednesday 27 November (Week 7). This is the latest we can order rewards and still get them to the recipients before the end of school. 

Please place your order as soon as you can so you don't miss out on the last reward of the year.

You can save any remaining tokens for next year, when we will have all new prizes to order.
