Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Carers,
This week's online assembly is a celebration of student learning and a wonderful insight into classrooms for you as parents and carers. I invite you to watch the school assembly below.
During the assembly you will hear students and teachers talking about Learning Intentions and Success Criteria. Learning Intentions are used in classrooms so that students know what they are learning about and why. Success Criteria paint a picture of what the essential learning is and allows students to receive feedback from teachers and their peers, and to set goals for the next steps in their learning.
Below are some of the Learning Intentions and Success Criteria currently in classrooms.
The Success Criteria for this Learning Intention will be co-constructed with students throughout Term 3 as the learning progresses.
Thank you Video from Catholic Schools NSW
A video has recently been developed by Catholic Schools NSW as a thank you to teachers from parents and students. The Murrie family, representing the Diocese of Wollongong, feature in the video. Thank you Sophie, Will and Rachael.
Please take a look at the video as a special thanks to our staff for all of their work during remote learning.

Coffee and Hot Chocolate Fairies
I would also like to thank the many St Joseph's parents who have been keeping staff going by providing coffee and hot chocolate from a local cafe on a weekly basis. This has been very uplifting for the staff of St Joseph's and we are incredibly grateful for your generosity. Great idea.
For all things at St Joseph’s, give thanks!
