Welcome Back Barbecue

What a fantastic night we had at the annual P&F Welcome Back Barbecue! Numbers were down on the last two years but at approximately 550 people it was still very well-attended.

Our amazing Committee cooked up a storm, despite the warm weather.  We couldn't do this event without our wonderful Café Manager, Nicole Pfeiffer who allows the P&F to use the Café space and she even helped with the dishes. What a superstar! 

A big thank you to the amazing Year 12 student leaders and other Secondary students who helped on the barbecues and with serving meals.  Without you we would still be cooking those 500+ meals.

We would also like to thank the Grounds Staff who set up the equipment and kept the parking safe for everyone, the IT Department who made sure the entertainment could be heard, and Secondary Music teacher, Rory Marchant for coordinating the talented performers.  A special thank you to our new Primary Music teacher, Hollie Burbage who performed throughout the evening much to the delight of the crowd.

This is just the first of our special occasions to mark our School's 30th Anniversary so look out for further announcements soon. 

P&F Annual General Meeting

The P&F Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 6 March at 7:00pm in the Library Resource Centre.  Everyone is welcome and we would like to see some new faces. Please come along to hear from the Committee, the wonderful things that are planned for the year ahead and exactly what your $35 levy achieves each year. 

Some members will be leaving us after many years of involvement and now is your chance to come along, meet new people and have a voice in your community.

Join the P&F for breakfast in Chalk Café next Tuesday 5 March and Thursday 7 March. The Hospitality students will be serving a delicious breakfast wtih take-away service and dine in options available. Pre-bookings are always appreciated and can be made via the Hospitality Coordinator, Susan Leach on 9495 8164. Please bring your own mug for coffees.
