Glen Gerreyn presents Positive Parenting
The SEEDS Project invites all families and friends of John Wollaston Anglican Community School to our first Parent Forum for 2019. Glen Gerreyn, Director and Co-Founder of The HopeFull Institute, returns to the School to present his contemporary seminar Positive Parenting. This event will be held at 7:00pm on Monday 11 March 2019 in the Victoria Morgan Arts Centre (VMAC).
Glen is an inspirational and motivating speaker and we look forward to welcoming all John Wollaston families, friends and community members to this important event.

Bunnings Armadale Sausage Sizzle
Visit Bunnings Armadale this Saturday 2 March 2019 and purchase a sausage sizzle to support the John Wollaston NASA USA Tour students in their fundraising efforts.
WA Youth Week
WA Youth Week runs from 13 – 20 April 2019. The City of Armadale are officially celebrating WA Youth Week through the #whoWEare campaign. The #whoWEare campaign aims to provide local young people a platform, to share, showcase and celebrate their stories, showing the rest of the community who they, the City’s young people, are.
Parents may wish to nominate any students you know that are inspiring young people, or encouraging them to nominate each other, or themselves in this campaign; to feel empowered to share their story for the chance to be showcased during WA Youth Week, and for their chance to win a $50 Armadale Shopping City Gift Voucher.
Every young person’s story is worth telling!
If your student has shown extreme courage or bravery, been uniquely innovative, expressed kindness in a situation that needed it, triumphed over personal hardships, made a contribution to their community, started a business or invented something from scratch, is passionate about making a difference or positively impacted the lives of those around them, volunteered their time, demonstrated amazing leadership, shown dedication to the sporting community, or anything else… the City of Armadale would love to hear from them and celebrate them!

MAWA Mathematics Expo
The Mathematical Association of Western Australia is holding a Mathematics Expo on Sunday 31 March 2019 from 9:00am to 4:00pm. This free family event at the Crown Convention Centre aims to provide support to parents and students with mathematics and learning at home.
It will be a fun, interactive day with lots of opportunities to see a variety of resources that make learning fun. There will also be prizes to be won. For more information visit the MAWA Facebook event.
