Senior Years

Year 11 Business and Enterprise

Entrepreneurs of Endeavour

Our budding young entrepreneurs impressed the Endeavour community with a wide range of products and creative marketing strategies. Their dedication and commitment were outstanding as they took full advantage of the College’s Food and Design Technology facilities. Students are assessed in this practical task for their business planning, operation, marketing and service. Trading over three consecutive lunch times, Enterprise Week is an exhausting but very worthwhile and engaging learning opportunity. This activity promotes cultural inclusivity and collaboration. The students involved are listed below. To demonstrate the social responsibility of business, students donated half of their profits ($750) to the two Vietnamese orphanages, sponsored by the College. The Year 11 Business and Enterprise students excelled in all areas, showed initiative in problem-solving, took risks and embraced all challenges. We are extremely grateful for the support of parents and the entire Endeavour community.

Year 10 Outdoor Ed Camp

On Monday 25 April, 15 students along with Miss Facchin and Mr Slattery set off on a 3 day camping expedition to Kuitpo Forrest. Over the 3 days, students were challenged to move out of the comfort zones and pushed to their limits during hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing and abseiling activities. This camp provided students the opportunity to prepare and cook their own meals on trangia cooking stoves, assemble and sleep in a tent and demonstrate leadership roles amongst the group. Teamwork, perseverance and courage were the strong themes demonstrated throughout the expedition, making it a rewarding and enjoyable experience for all.

“The Outdoor Ed camp was an enjoyable experience for us all! We loved the rock climbing and abseiling as there was such a nice view. All the activities were fun but making our own food was a challenge. Overall, we had a great time.” – Emily H and Nikki O

“Camp was a challenging experience for all of us. The bond of the group was tested and pushed but in the end, we worked together and got through. The activities were enjoyable and allowed time to get to know our own strengths.” – Tia R

“The camp was fun, full of great experiences. The best part was spending time with our class mates. The mountain biking was great, one of my favourite activities. I enjoyed every minute of it!” – Jayden E

“Such an amazing experience. I would recommend Outdoor Ed to all Year 9s!” – Andy M
