Sports Update

With a short but very busy term ahead of us, School Sport is already well and truly in full swing. Four teams were entered into the SACSA Volleyball Carnival in Week 1, with all teams spending much of the latter part of Term 3 in training for this event. Our Year 10 and 11 teams were coached by Mr Otto-Williams and Mr Pearse, and our Year 8 and 9 teams were coached by Mrs Noack and Mrs Willsmore. We thank these teachers for their dedication to the teams and their efforts in running multiple lunchtime and afterschool trainings. Please see below for results and best players on the day. This now wraps up our involvement in SACSA Carnivals for 2017. We have once again been impressed with the level of competition, organisation and sportsmanship that we have witnessed through our participation with SACSA. We look forward to continuing our affiliation with them in 2018.

This term in our Weekly Vista competition we have entered three Middle Years teams; one Mixed Volleyball team and two Boys Basketball teams. All teams are looking forward to some high quality competition and a busy program. All the best to these teams for the term ahead!

Year 7 SAPSASA Athletics

On Thursday 21 September, Erin Gates, Andrea Campbell and Nathaniel Keeler represented  Adelaide North East District at the SAPSASA Athletics State Carnival. Our students should be very proud of their efforts and the way they showed competitive spirit and encouraged others in their district throughout the day. We would also like to give a special mention to Nathaniel who came 3rd in the 200m sprints. A big thank you to the parents who provided transport on the day and a huge congratulations to the students for being selected to attend this event.
