Macintyre Horse Sports

Students from Holy Trinity School excelled last Friday at the Macintyre Horse Sports day at the Inverell Showground. Although it was a warm day, the students and their four-legged friends competed with gusto to secure the Champion School award for highest overall point score for the day. Eighteen Students from both the Primary and Secondary departments rode for the school in events including; the March Pass, Hack classes, Barrels, Flags, Bending, Point to Point and the 3 Mug Race. All students secured ribbons in at least 2 events with too many individual ribbons to list, the team displayed sportsmanship and skill to participate in a wonderful day which was enjoyed by all. Thank you to the many parent helpers whom without their considerable organisation and assistance, the day  would not be possible. Congratulations to all involved!
