CELEBRATING OUR FAITH

Year of Mercy Pilgrimage

Representatives of our school and parish community joined schools and parishes from across the diocese in Armidale for a procession and mass to celebrate the Feast of Christ the King, and mark the closing of Pope Francis' Year of Mercy. The mass was concelebrated by Bishop Kennedy with priests from across the diocese. After the special mass, which featured beautiful choir and pipe organ music, we shared a picnic lunch on the lawns of O'Mahony House, the Bishop's Armidale residence. The day was a wonderful celebration of the role of the Catholic Church in the diocese, and was a reminder of our small but significant place in the life of church around the world.

Year 6 Thanksgiving Mass

Next week parents and grandparents are welcome to join us for the Year 6 Thanksgiving Mass, to be held at Sacred Heart Church at 9.15am Friday 2 December. It is a time to celebrate the end of the students journies through primary school, and to look ahead to the challenges of entering secondary school and young adulthood.

Year 10 Final assembly

On Friday morning Year 10 will conduct the Secondary Assembly Prayer, their last at Holy Trinity school. They have been busy writing their farewell remarks, and there will be tears as they remember the special times they have enjoyed together.

Vinnies lap-a-thon

Friday afternoon will see the Secondary students dressing up to raise money for our local St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal. Fancy dress and splashing water is encouraged - for a good cause! Please support any students seeking sponsorship for the number of laps they complete, and give generously to this worthy cause.
