Winter Warmth Casual Day

On Friday 6th July, Week 10, we will be have a Winter Warmth casual day. Students are asked to wear their warmest winter clothes and in turn bring a gold coin donation.

Money raised will be donated to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) to assist in the research into Juvenile Diabetes. This cause is close to our hearts as one of our Year 4 students, Chloe, lives with diabetes and has done since she was diagnosed when she was 2 years of age.

Chloe and her mum, Jenna are flying to Canberra on 22nd August, to attend a meeting with our Federal Members of Parliament, where Chloe will tell her story and talk about the importance of  research into Juvenile Diabetes and to try to convince them to help raise more money. They were chosen to represent our state by a representative from the JDRF because they thought they were a "good match".

Please support Chloe and others like her by donating on Friday 6th July. Well done Chloe, you are an inspiration to many and we wish you all the best in Canberra.
