Captains Report

Hello MWPS Community!

We hope everyone's holidays were fantastic and you are all ready for Term 2. On the first day back, our school community celebrated Anzac Day with a special assembly. We had a special guest, Andrew Marshall, to explain Anzac Day a little more. An important part of the ceremony involved reciting the Ode and laying a wreath beneath our Australian flag.

For the next 2 weeks, our positive choice goal is to put our rubbish in the bin and to eat in the designated eating areas. The importance of this goal is to keep our school clean and to keep the animals safe from eating things they're not supposed to.

Who would like to see these animals suffer eating our rubbish because we were too lazy to put it in the bin? When students are displaying these positive behaviours, the yard duty staff give the students a raffle ticket which goes into the draw to win Lizzie.

We hope this will steer them in the right direction towards keeping our school clean and the animals safe.

Until next time,

Noah and Angela
