Visual Arts

YEAR 10

Year 10 have examined how the body has been represented throughout time in visual arts. In this unit of work each student explored representations of the body through a variety of ways from the seemingly simple line drawing of a figure to the internal operation of the body either physically or mentally. This topic has seen a range of mediums explored and most recently students created their own etching and worked through physicality of the printmaking process. In future learning opportunities students will explore the prolific influence of Italian art through the ages.
