IDAHOBIT

This year was the first year back at school with no more home learning, as well as my first time as part of the SRC. We thought not only was IDAHOBIT day a chance for our school to support the LGBTQIA+ community with the raising of the pride flag, but also for us to reignite the students passion for the school. It was not perfect, and there are many kinks we still need to iron out, but it’s a start. I’m hoping that this free dress day marks the rebirth of school life at Gisborne.  

The students had a great day and we look forward to continuing our support for the LGBTQIA+ Community.
