Junior School Band

Gisborne Secondary College gives students a range of musical experiences that focus on student participation in a variety of ensemble and weekly lessons. 

Ensembles are held at various times in the Performing Arts Centre.  The purpose of the ensemble program is for students to develop a range of performing skills in a group setting as well as gain confidence and make new friends. Participation is highly recommended and encouraged. 

We have a talented team of junior students from year levels 7-9 who get together Thursday lunchtimes to jam with our Instrumental Coordinator Gordon Graham. 

It’s a great way to showcase their skills with other students in a band situation and run through songs together.

They will be performing in Term 3 as part of the production showcase.
