Office News / School Information

Office Hours

The School Office will be opened during the following times - 8.30am - 4.30pm.

New - Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD)

What is the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data? Schools must now complete the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) every year. It counts the number of students who receive additional adjustments or “help” at school because of a disability. The NCCD helps governments plan for the needs of students with disability.

Further information relating to this is available in the attached flyer.

UPDATED - Late arrival / Early collection

Students who arrive at school after 9.00am must present to the office for students to be signed in.

Students who leave school before 3.20pm will need to be signed out through the office.

If your child is going to be late or leaving early, please notify the office or your teacher direct rather than submitting via PAM as this affects our absences on the roll.

Student Absences

If your child is absent, you are required to notify the school, please do so via PAM. Instructions are detailed on the 'Simon Everywhere' page of this newsletter.

Alternatively absences can be phoned through to the school office or you can notify your students teacher direct.

Following government guidelines, schools are legislated to contact families regarding ’unexplained absences’, and parents will receive a text message if your student is not marked present on the class roll, including late arrivals that are not signed in at the office.  If you receive a message, we ask you to please contact the office to notify reason for absence.

  • school camps or trips
  • swimming and school-organised sports programs
  • outdoor education programs
  • excursions and incursions.

The Victorian Government is investing an additional $160.9 million for the Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund. This funding will help ensure more than 220,000 government and non-government students from lower-income families can participate in camps, sports and excursions each year.
