Chinese Buddies Session

In a recent Buddies session, Year 6 students read a children’s story in Chinese to their Foundation buddies. They have worked incredibly hard in recent weeks to prepare for this special Chinese Buddies session. 

The story was about a baby dressing in different costumes. By the end of the session, Foundation students all knew that the word “bǎo bǎo” means “baby” in Chinese. 

This was such a wonderful opportunity for Year 6 students to learn about using voice and expression to read a Chinese story in an engaging manner for an audience. 

Well done to all Bimbadeen students involved in this activity!
