Visual Arts Teacher

The year 5 and 6 students have completed a unit of Visual Arts based on the Brazilian Artist, Romero Britto. He combines the elements of cubism, pop art and graffiti painting in his artworks, using vibrant colours and bold patterns. He aims to express a vision of hope, dreams and happiness through his art. 

This is a small selection of year 5 and 6’s hopes and dreams…..I think you will agree that they certainly embody a sense of vibrancy and happiness.

I also want to say a special thank you to Mrs Jane Jansz for care taking the Visual Arts program throughout Term One whilst I was on Leave. The students have produced some amazing results and were able to talk like real artists about what they had achieved when I started back this term.

Well done Mrs Jansz and the year 5 & 6 students.
