Performing Arts News

Well it been another busy fortnight in the Performing Arts Faculty! I would like to congratulate all the staff and students for their stellar performances at last week's Autumn Concert. I was so impressed with the standard of the performances, it really is a credit to the hard work everyone has put in.

I would like to congratulate Mrs Juers and the VCE Drama class for their devised ensemble performances on Friday evening. The girls presented a thought-provoking performance that was again a credit to all involved.

This week sees the first performance for the Year 5 and Year 7 Band Program, with the students performing to friends and family on Tuesday 31 May. It has been an absolute pleasure seeing the girls develop on their instruments. We all look forward to their next performance.

The House Performing Arts Festival (HPA) has also been gearing up with House singing and auditions for some items happening at the moment. If students have any questions about what they could do to be involved, please see your HPA Captain. HPA is something that I would encourage all students to be a part of and look forward to it running this year!
