Numeracy at Home
As parents, we are always seeking ways to assist our children to become better learners. We are often reminded of the importance of daily reading with our children and other ways to support our children's literacy development. Mathematics, however, sometimes gets overlooked. How are we supporting our children to become more numerate? We use mathematics in our everyday lives and can try to make this more explicit to our children and involve them in this "everyday maths".
