My first is something in egg, and in empty.

My second is in lolly and in lizard.

My third is a vowel.

My fourth is in pie.

My fifth is in honey and hamster.

My sixth is in  apple and ant. 

My seventh is in plant and drink.

My eighth is in Patrick and trade. 

Can you guess my animal?

Some students in Years 2 and 3 were reading a fantasy book.  They encountered a riddle to be solved and decided to try their hand at writing their own.  See if you can solve them!

Guess Who?

My first is in road, rainbow and rain.

 My second is in you but some people write the letter instead of the word.

My  third is in submerged, but not in egg or sun or mum or rain.

 My fourth is for you, it is for you.

My  fifth is in sturdy, stud, and school.

My sixth is in smart, middle and magical

My seventh is in igloo, ill and it.

My eighth is in to, too and twenty 

My ninth is in horrible, bubble and bring.

This  is two words put together it  is a crystal and a brand of chips .

My forth is in staple, table and stick.
