STUDENT ACTIVITIES

A huge congratulations to Faith in 6JM for her stunning portrait that impressed the judges and all who saw it at The Royal Melbourne Show last month.

Faith drew actress Zendaya using pencils to capture the likeness. The judges commented on her strong skill and we agree!

And only just this weekend Faith has been awarded with First Prize at The Geelong Show.  Faith cleverly merged two images together to make the stunning portrait using coloured pencils. Faith won art supplies and money and deservedly won BEST EXHIBIT.

Faith also had her own portrait at The Geelong Gallery for the Who’s Who Portrait Prize. 

Younger students might be lucky enough to have Faith share her talents and tips at Art Club this term as a valued Art Committee member. 

Faith is going to kindly share the portraits with us at the Chilwell Art Show.

I think we should remember these achievements for when Faith wins the Archibald Prize in years to come.
