The term got off to a busy start on Friday with roughly 40 boys heading over to a social hosted at St Peters Lutheran College. It was great for the boys to catch up with many friends so early in the term and we have plenty of socials planned in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, a small group of our Cricket enthusiasts headed down to the Gabba to watch the Aussies play West Indies in a T20 match. Unfortunately, the T20 World Cup schedule doesn’t quite fit into rec but the boys were stoked to see some international Cricket in the flesh.

Many boys had club sport kicking off on Saturday morning and were off bright and early. The rest of the boys enjoyed a sleep-in before a bike ride, swim and trip up to Brookside to stock up on supplies for the term. The forecast was a bit dodgy for Sunday but we pushed on with our Mooloolaba trip and were lucky to avoid most of the rain. The boys had a great time in the ocean and it’s always a quiet bus trip home!

We’ve been waiting to confirm a couple of activities before sending the full-term rec calendar which will be complete in the coming days.
