Get ready, get set to Go for Gold this October!

Get active this October (3-28) and help our school become the Glen Eira ActiveSchools Champion for 2022! One lucky student will also win a Fitbit Ace. You will receive a Golden Ticket at the start of Term 4 and each time you walk, ride or scoot to school, tick one of the boxes on your ticket. Being active helps keep us fit and healthy so whether you walk, ride or scoot to school, all or part of the way, it all counts! Don’t forget to mark Friday 7th  October in your diaries because we will be encouraging teachers, students and parents to participate in a car free day so everyone walks, rides or scoots to school. At the end of October, you’ll submit your entry to go into the draw to win a Fitbit Ace as well as help our school take out the interschool honours! Good luck and have fun!

Korean News

Year 6 students have continued to develop their communication skills through exchanging messages with Korean students via Padlet. They have also received a little gift and a card created by the Korean students. In return our students made a boomerang with their own story and sent them to the students in Korea.

“I go on a long journey. I start off my journey with harsh rain.
When the rain goes away, a rainbow comes to tell me I am nearly there.
I finally finish my journey to Korea to meet you.” - Zoe

Year 1 students have focused on learning the names of transportation and enjoyed various hands-on activities. Here are some transportations created with seven tangrams.
