YEAR 7 STREET ART
This week, a new group of Year 7s were excited to kickstart a term of Visual Arts at Sacred Heart College. Students will explore the principles and elements of art and design by exploring a range of local street artists and their public mural artworks. Over the term, students are exposed to a wide range of art materials and processes through a series of drawing activities that culminate in a lino-print.
In this week's lessons, students focused on creating tone in their drawings using vine and compressed charcoal, Conte Crayons, smudging sticks and kneadable erasers. Their images were inspired by the artworks of Perth street artist Stormie Mills.
What incredible work!
