Year 5/6 Report

In our Literacy and Inquiry lessons, the 5/6 students have been learning about aspects of Australian History, including Colonisation, the Gold Rush, Eureka Stockade and Federation. We will continue to look at the significant events that have taken place throughout Australian History. 

In Mathematics, students will continue to work on their individualised maths modules, mini lessons and whole class Rich Learning Tasks, focusing on Money and financial mathematics, Units of Measurement and Chance. 

The 5/6 students have also begun Friday sport, where they rotate through four different sports for the term. We are concentrating on Hockey, Basketball, Ripper Rugby and Ultimate Handball.
