WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING

Hi everyone, 

Welcome back to Term 3! 

We hope you had a great break. 

TheirCare had an exciting Holiday Program with visits to Strike Bowling and the movies to see Minions: Rise of Gru! 

The children also tried their hand at making scarves, colorful dream catchers and decorating beanies as the cold weather swept in! Brrr! 

During the last two weeks, we have been busy making crafts, decorating and exploring painting techniques. We also used recycled Coles bags to make pom-poms, got creative with clay, and tried new painting techniques, including salt painting and puff painting. 

The kids also made their own wind chimes and decorated them using sequins and paint. 

We also brought out the ping pong set and had a high-intensity match with some of the kids! They love competing against the staff here and we think it’s so much fun. 

We will be adding more activities like this to the program in the coming weeks. 

We ended Week 2 with some new additions to the care room and space, including puzzles, new board games, toys, sports equipment, and squishes to play with!
