We are excited to cheer on Shanéa Tonkin (Class of 2014) and Kieren Pollard (Class of 2016) who will be representing Australia at their first ever Commonwealth Games. Shanéa (sister of Samara, Year 8 and Siena, Year 11 Kimberley) is a proud member of the Hockeyroos and Kieren is a proud member of the Australian Dolphins Swim Team.

Shanéa has spent the past eight weeks training in The Netherlands and Spain. She will be playing her first game for Australia with the Hockeyroos at 9:00pm tomorrow (Saturday) against Kenya, followed by South Africa at 4:00am on Monday 1 August, New Zealand at 4:00pm on Tuesday 2 August and Scotland on Wednesday 3 August at 4:00pm before hopefully heading into the possible medal qualification matches.

Kieren will be competing in the Mens 400m Individual Medley - an event that involves mastering four different strokes. He will be swimming in the Heats tomorrow (Saturday) sometime between 5:30pm and 7:30pm and hopefully again in the Finals on Sunday morning from 2:00am - 5:00am.

Both of our Australian representatives have been outstanding in their training and dedication towards achieving their sporting dreams. We wish them all the best in their debut.
