COMMUNITY SPORTING ACHIEVEMENTS
Congratulations to Poppy F (4BJ) who ran her first 5.5km race last weekend at the Run Melbourne Event. She ran an awesome race, not only completing the course without stopping, but finishing an amazing 15th out of 107 in her age group.
Well done, Poppy! We can’t wait to hear about your next fun run! |
If your child achieves something special (grand final win, most valuable player award, best and fairest etc.), please email me (jordan.daley@education.vic.gov.au) through photos and an overview of the achievement to post in Contact. It is important to celebrate and recognise such successes with the school community.
REBEL COMMUNITY KICKBACKS PROGRAM
Greenhills Primary School is involved in the Rebel Community Kickbacks Program
What can you do to help Greenhills primary School benefit from this program?
Staff, family and friends can link the school to their Rebel Active Loyalty Program account and instantly start earning credits.
Thank you,
Jordan Daley
Dr JUSTIN COULSON'S HAPPY FAMILIES
You only get 936 weekends before your child isn't a child anymore. That might sound like a lot, but this little art installation is a great visual reminder to make the most of the precious time we have with our kids.
Switch your screen off, get out there, and have a great weekend with your family!
OFFICE NEWS
We have uploaded all events/activities into the Compass Calendar. You can view two ways:
- App: click the Calendar icon (only displays a day at a time)
- Computer click the calendar icon in the top left corner
When accessing via the computer, you will automatically see the schedule for the week containing the current date. You can choose to view this schedule by week or by month by clicking on the buttons in the top right-hand corner.
You can choose to view your schedule for a specific time period by navigating to that date and clicking on it in the small calendar box.
Pink items show items that the whole school can view, Green are events that your child/ren are invited to be part of and can be also accessed by clicking on them – this takes you to the event details.
Printing Calendars
Users can print calendars clicking the 'Print' button in the top right-had corner of the calendar. This will download a PDF which lists the daily calendar items, see below.
If you prefer to view the content in a classic calendar format (as opposed to the list), simply use your browser's print function to print the page off in either week or month view (Ctrl+P in Google Chrome, Internet Explorer or Firefox). When doing so, be sure to select landscape instead of portrait.
Like always, if you have any queries, please don’t hesitate to contact the office.
